Scarlett Nash

Scarlett Headshot 3Scarlett started dancing at the age of 2, competitively at the age of 5. During the next several years, she achieved several regional and national overall and title awards in the jazz, lyrical, and tap categories. Professionally, she was a guest performer in the national touring production of The Wizard of Oz. At age 11, Scarlett discovered her passion for ballet and contemporary. She has studied under the direction of McKenna Gadzia Herzog, Jaclyn Kenyon, Lucas Segovia and Kara Zimmerman. Scarlett played a soldier in the 2013 children’s cast of the Joffrey Ballet’s Nutcracker. Her repertoire also includes Sleeping Beauty Fairy Violente, Sleeping Beauty Diamond Fairy, Esmeralda from La Esmeralda, the Cygnets from Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker’s Sugar Plum Fairy. Most recently, Scarlett played the role of Snow White in YPAC’s original full length ballet, Enchanted Forest. ¬†She looks forward to performing new roles and bringing new things to the community through Divergent.
